Meet your Doula

Hi, I'm Lily!

I’m a Portland native, a mom of two, and someone who’s truly passionate about supporting families during the wild, beautiful ride that is the postpartum journey. I'm a postpartum doula, lactation counselor, and newborn care specialist—and I absolutely love what I do.

My path into this work started, like many doulas, with my own experience becoming a parent. When my first child was born, I struggled with postpartum depression. It was a tough and disorienting time, and it really opened my eyes to how deeply we all need support—not just for the baby, but for the whole family. That experience is what lit the fire in me to become the kind of support I wish I’d had.

Before doula work, I spent 6 years in early childhood education as an infant teacher in daycare centers—while earning my degree in Early Childhood Education. I also stepped into a daycare director role for a while, which gave me some serious skills in leadership, organization, and, let’s be honest—juggling everything. Eventually, I transitioned into nannying so I could build deeper, more personal connections with families. That one-on-one time made it clear: this was my calling. I wanted to walk with parents through the early days, not just care for their babies, but really care for them too.

Now, as a postpartum doula, I bring all of that experience—infant care, early education, emotional support, lactation guidance—and hold space for families in a way that’s personal, gentle, and affirming.

My approach is all about meeting you where you’re at. No judgment, no one-size-fits-all advice—just real support for your unique family. Whether that means helping with feeding, holding your baby so you can shower and breathe, or just being a kind, steady presence when everything feels a little much—I’m here for all of it. At the heart of my work is a deep belief in community and equity. I believe postpartum care should be accessible to every family, not just those with privilege. Too many parents—especially in marginalized communities—are left without the support they deserve. I’m here to change that, one family at a time, with care that’s rooted in justice, empathy, and respect.

When I’m not supporting families, you can usually find me stitching away at an embroidery project, spending time at the library, or winding down with some unapologetically addictive Bravo TV (yes, I’m a Real Housewives fan!).
