What does a postpartum doula do?
. Emotional Support: whether you need to talk, cry, vent, or just have someone really listen—I’m here. My goal is to help you feel grounded, heard, and supported.
. Physical Support: from washing bottles and folding baby laundry to soothing your newborn so you can nap—I’m all about lightening the load and giving you space to rest and heal.
. Infant Care Education: not sure how to swaddle? Wondering what’s normal with newborn sleep? I’ve got you. I’ll guide you through the basics and help you feel confident caring for your baby.
. Feeding Support: whether you’re chestfeeding, bottle-feeding, combo-feeding, or still figuring it out, I’ll support you with positioning, latch help, and troubleshooting—without any judgment.
. Partner & Family Support: I love involving partners, offering support around sibling transitions, and helping the whole family feel connected and included in this new chapter.
. Postpartum Mental Health: I keep an eye on how you’re doing emotionally too. I’m trained to recognize signs of postpartum mood disorders, and if something more is needed, I’ll help you find the right support.
. Postpartum Recovery: let’s talk about what you need to heal—physically and emotionally. From self-care to sleep hacks, I’ll help you tune in to your body and prioritize your well-being.
. Resources & Referrals: need a great pelvic floor therapist? A lactation consultant? A queer-affirming parent group? I’ve got a whole list of trusted local resources I can share with you.
. Community & Social Justice: everyone deserves care. I’m committed to making sure families of all identities, backgrounds, and circumstances feel seen, supported, and welcomed. I actively advocate for equitable care and connect families to inclusive, affirming community networks.

If there’s a way to make your postpartum experience a little easier, a little softer, or a little more joyful—I’d love to talk about it.
This time is about bonding, healing, and growing into your new role with love and confidence. Let’s make sure you have what you need to truly thrive.
